A budding tax consultant from Soweto has vowed to do everything in her power to get her fees from a company she has done work for since October last year.

A budding tax consultant from Soweto has vowed to do everything in her power to get her fees from a company she has done work for since October last year.

Tshegofatso Boikanyo alleges that in 2002 an employee of Road Grip Afrityers recommended her to the company because their accounts needed to be sorted out.

Boikanyo was also asked to lower her fees as the company said they intended using her services on a long-term basis.

Road Grip Afrityers is a national company and Boikanyo did its books for all of its 21 branches. The company is divided into two, South Palace Holding and Road Grip Afrityers, both headed by one chief executive, said Boikanyo

"I was paid as verbally agreed, but last year, the new chief executive refused to pay me."

For the first time in four years she was told to produce an order number for the work done, she said.

At first they asked her to bill each division separately, which she did.

She was then told to produce an order number after the new chief executive, Lucas Tseki, took over in October, otherwise she could not be paid for the seven months' work she had done for the company.

Boikanyo says she is owed about R300000 for the services rendered.

Attempts to get comment from Tseki were futile as he did not respond to messages left.
