All previous winners of the Community Builder of the Year award in Gauteng are invited to participate in the forthcoming launch of the Community Builders of South Africa (Cobusa).
Sponsored by financial services giant Old Mutual, national broadcaster SABC and Sowetan, the Community Builder of the Year award was conceived by the late Sowetan editor-in-chief Dr Aggrey Klaaste, and other like-minded nation builders inside and outside the newspaper, in 1991.
Several years ago, Cobusa - an organisation featuring previous top-placed candidates - was launched. The Limpopo chapter was launched in Polokwane in April and the launch was graced by Premier Sello Moloto. Cobusa's national president is Limpopo-based Chief AK Mahumani.
The Cobusa Gauteng launch can only succeed when all the previous awardees participate. They are invited to submit their latest contact details to Makwetla & Associates at 011-447-5199.
