As part of Small Business Week, up-and-coming entrepreneurs in Nelspruit, Mpumalanga, were provided with information on how to develop and grow their businesses.

SBW, spearheaded by the Small Enterprise Development Agency (Seda), Absa and Small Business Development Centre, aims to provide information about small business support and business opportunities to entrepreneurs from all sectors.

SBW also aims to provide awareness about business deve- lopment support that is available through seminars or workshops.

The event, which started on Monday, also aims to promote a culture of entrepreneurship and raise awareness about economic opportunities that are available in Mpumalanga. "For those people who are considering starting a small business, this event provides guidance on some of the key decisions involved and a chance to meet key industry stakeholders," said Seda provincial manager Ntokozo Majola.

"And for those who already have their businesses up and running, the event will offer networking opportunities and present opportunities that are available from both the public and private sectors."
