The memorial service for Aphelele Daniso, a member of the Soweto Melodic Voices, will be held at St Mary's Anglican Church in Orlando East, Soweto today at 5.30.
Daniso, 19, of Orlando East, died last Thursday at Helen Joseph Hospital after a long illness.
She was a Grade 12 student at Westbury Secondary School, in Newclare.
"We were expecting a lot from her as she had great potential both in her school work and music," said Sharon Daniso, her aunt.
The Daniso will be buried on Saturday. The funeral service will be held at Christ The King Anglican Church in Sophiatown at 7am.
The cortege will depart at 9.30am for West Park Cemetery.
