Lion feeder Simon Mathebula's nephew is not happy that his uncle's co-accused has been released from prison on early parole while he has some way to go with his 15-year sentence.
"Justice in South Africa favours the rich and whites," Aubrey Mathebula, 19, said from his home in Rooiboklaagte near Acornhoek.
The grade 11 pupil said people with television sets had told him that even Correctional Service Minister Ngconde Balfour had justified ScottCrossley's release.
"I'd have liked to see the minister myself but we are so poor we cannot afford a television since my uncle was the only breadwinner," Mathebula said.
"The minister himself told the world that that the white man's release was fair! The judge that sentenced him Scott Crossley to life was right - because I don't doubt that the idea of feeding a man to the lions came from him."
He said his uncle was cool and would never have done such a thing.
