Great friend, brilliant mind and natty dresser

Death ends life but not a relationship. The good times I spent with my dear departed friend and business partner Masike Bokaba will be cherished forever.

Bokaba, who died of a rare lung disease, was a straight talker. We called him the brainy one because he was extremely intelligent.

The 40-year-old University of the North graduate took his work very seriously, but he was also a party animal. He played hard and worked harder.

I met Bokaba, who was born in Diepkloof, Soweto, through a mutual friend in the 90s and we hit it off instantly. He was a smart dresser and always immaculate.

I will miss the good times, the bad times, the arguments, his infectious laughter and, most importantly, the indulgence.

Bokaba, a founding director of Tsenelo Advertising and Tirani Petroleum, had a B Proc degree, diploma in credit management, diploma in tax law and a post-graduate diploma in forensic and investigative accounting.

Thanks, my friend and dear brother, for the discipline you instilled in me. It will take our business ventures forward.

Bokaba, who will be sadly missed by his mother, children, family and friends, will be buried at the Roodepoort Cemetery tomorrow.

The service starts at 8am at Diepkloof Hall and the cortegeleaves for the cemetery at 10am.
