Ludumo Galada will add the second world title to Enothole Boxing Gym tonight when he belts it out with David Kiilu for the World Boxing Foundation featherweight strap.

This assurance was made yesterday by gym owner S'Phatho Handi whose Mamali Boxing Promotions company will stage the fight at the Orient Theatre in East London.

"A lot positive is happening for us. Lubabalo Msuthu should also add both the WBC International and ABU bantamweight belts next month," said Handi, whose gym is situated in Mdantsane.

That gym boasts the International Boxing Organisation mini flyweight belt that is held by the sensational Nkosinathi "Mabhere" Joyi.

Lennox Mpulampula, former coach of the national amateur boxing team, fine-tunes the fighting proficiencies of Handi's boxers.

Galada, a well balanced stand-up boxer with good hand speed, will fight Kenyan Kiilu for the vacant WBF belt in Galada's first international professional fight.

He graduated from the amateur ranks in 2004 on his return from Athens where he represented South Africa at the Olympics.

This relatively inexperienced local, who is yet to taste defeat after 11 wins (4 KOs), could have his hands full against the vastly experienced Denmark-based Kenyan who boasts 28 wins (15 KOs), five defeats and two draws.

But at 25 Galada should be too fast and powerful for his 35-year-old opponent. This fight, a test of character for Galada, the current national champion, will be broadcast live by SABC on Blow by Blow at 9.30pm.

Meanwhile, his stablemate, Nkosana Sobethu, will oppose Thembelani Maphuma for the vacant national junior bantamweight title in the main supporting bout.
