Kwaito star Mandoza, real name Mduduzi Tshabalala, will face charges of culpable homicide in the Roodepoort magistrate's court in the second week of December.
Mandoza appeared briefly in court yesterday and was not asked to plead. Magistrate Delinse Smith will ask him to plead on two counts of culpable homicide when he returns on December 8.
On March 3, Mandoza was driving his Chrysler SRT when he allegedly crashed into the back of a VW Jetta on the N1 North near the Beyers Naude off-ramp.
The two occupants of the Jetta, colleagues Felix Thebe and Charles Shabalala, died at the scene. If convicted, he could spend five to 10 years in jail.
