HARARE - Zimbabwe's main opposition Movement for Democratic Change said yesterday it had not consented to the reconvening of parliament, claiming the move could jeopardise talks to resolve the political crisis.

Secretary general Tendai Biti said: "It will indicate beyond reasonable doubt Zanu PF's unwillingness to continue to be part of the talks. In short, convening parliament decapitates the dialogue." - Sapa-AFP
