The days when teachers stayed away from school for the whole day to visit the education department offices to enquire about human resources (HR) related issues are over.

This after the establishment of the first ever call centre for teachers that will make life much easier for them.

Through this call centre, the department wants to ensure that HR enquiries are dealt with promptly to minimise unnecessary backlogs.

Employees and past employees can call the call centre to request information on salary payments, pension, internal policies, HR circulars, appointments, norms and standards, and examinations.
