Mpumalanga Vodacom Second Division frontrunners Mighty Mega Force and Barberton City Stars both recorded good away wins at the weekend over Winners and Secunda Stars, and look to be pulling away from the chasing pack.

Force beat Winners 2-1 while Stars, who took part in the national playoffs last season, outclassed Secunda by the same margin.

Both sides have a 100 percent record after winning their opening three games.

But Force lead the Mpumalanga league on goal difference, having scored eight and conceded three.

Stars have scored four and conceded one.

They are two points ahead of the chasing packs of Batau, Witbank Manchester and Yorkcor United.

They are level on points with Baroka FC who beat Modimolle Classic 2-1, and Manendze Liverpool who outclassed Mighty FC 1-0.

All three teams have played three games and are yet to taste defeat.
