University of Limpopo Turfloop campus and University of Venda (Univen) will locks horn in the first leg of the soccer qualification programme for the University Sports South Africa Football (USSF) national club championship.

University of Limpopo Turfloop campus and University of Venda (Univen) will locks horn in the first leg of the soccer qualification programme for the University Sports South Africa Football (USSF) national club championship.

The two institutions will battle it out on Sunday at the University of Limpopo's Oscar Mpetha Stadium at 3pm. The national championship will be hosted by the University of KwaZulu-Natal from December 1 to 5.

University of Limpopo lead the log on goal difference after they walloped Tshwane University of Technology (TUT's) Polokwane campus 4-0, while Univen rubbed salt in their wounds with a 1-0 win.

The opening match will be between the two institutions' female teams at 1pm, followed by the men at 3pm. The return match will be on September 7 at Univen. - Matome Lebea
