Bulls looking to bounce back

The Bulls will be eagerly looking for a bonus point victory to better their position on the Absa Currie Cup table when they lock horns with the Wildeklawer Griquas at Loftus tonight.

The Pretoria side is fourth on the log with 24 points from seven games. They are a point behind log leaders the Sharks who have garnered 28 points from eight games. A win will take them top of the log and make up for their surprise 30-27 defeat to the Lions at home last Saturday.

Coach Frans Ludeke has named Chiliboy Ralepelle in the starting line-up to give him a new lease of life. This will be the former SA Sevens captain's first start this season.

The Bulls have been boosted for today's encounter by the return of inside centre Wayne Julies and scrumhalf Heinie Adams.

Wing Akona Ndungane, who got injured in the Lions game, will be replaced by Rocco Jansen.

The Bulls have been warned not to underestimate the Griquas because they normally go flat out against the big unions. A recent victim was Western Province who went down 21-20 in June.
