Violence has never been a viable option to draw attention to one's grievances or resolve differences.

Violence has never been a viable option to draw attention to one's grievances or resolve differences.

Damaging property and threatening life and limb is in fact an illegal way of trying to resolve disputes.

The destruction of more than 20 buses by irate commuters at KwaMhlanga, near Cullinan, should therefore be be condemned.

Torching the very buses that ferry them to and from work simply because there were no tickets available on the day was not only senseless but a criminal act.

An enquiry at the local bus depot about the non-availability of tickets would have helped avoid the chaos.

Those involved in this ludicrous act should hang their heads in shame.
