I want to share my story because I hope it will help other sisters to take control of their lives, like I did.
Two years ago I weighed 38kg more than I do now. I was hugely overweight, unfit, and deeply unhappy. I was so miserable that I seldom went out. I spent nearly all my free time on my own. When I did go out, I was convinced people were staring at me and laughing.
Then one day I decided I had had enough. I decided to take control of my life and changed my diet and lifestyle. I cut out fatty foods, sugar and all the stuff that was making me fat. I went to gym. I started walking instead of jumping into my car. I walked up the stairs at work.
As the kilos started dropping off, my confidence picked up and so did my energy. I started to enjoy life and made new friends. I started going to parties and even went on a few dates. I still go to gym five times a week and I watch what I eat. My weight is stable now.
Two months ago I met the man of my dreams and I suspect we are headed for the wedding chapel.
If you are struggling with your weight, make the decision to help yourself. You can change your life. I did.
