A bogus teacher doing practicals at two schools in Mpumalanga has been arrested for allegedly sodomising two 12-year-old boys after luring them to his home.
The 24-year-old man from Jerusalem, near Hazyview, was arrested yesterday after the boys' parents laid charges at the KaBokweni police station.
He used to do practical teaching at the Maphakama and Mthonjeni primary schools after convincing the principals that he was a student from the University of Johannesburg.
"He later asked permission from the principals to have a group of boys go to his house where they would practise to parade for his coming wedding," Constable Muzi Ngomane said yesterday.
The man later asked their parents if they could spend a few nights at his place.
"After the parents gave the permission the boys slept at the suspect's home, where he allegedly sodomised two of them," Ngomane said.
