Captain Godfrey Maditsi said three unlicensed firearms were confiscated after a tracker company traced the stolen taxi to Empilisweni in Thokoza, Ekurhuleni, at about 2am yesterday.
The man was charged with possession of a stolen vehicle and unlicensed firearms.
He is expected to appear in the Alberton magistrate's court today. - Sapa
