MAPUTO - High levels of HIV-Aids infection in Mozambique are being pushed by unsafe sex practices with hundreds of Zimbabwean women prostitutes.

Unicef executive director, Ann Venemann, said yesterday she "was concerned by high levels of HIV infection".

"We are working with the ministry of the Interior to deal with the uncontrolled immigration of Zimbabwean women who are engaged in sexual activities in central Mozambique." - Sapa
