The Butityiki Konki Schools tournament that was set to resume today in Uitenhage has been postponed until tomorrow because of the country-wide strike.

Sumalekile Yamile said the tournament was put on hold for the June holidays.

In the senior category, Solomon Mahlangu High have an easy task when they come up against VM Kwinana in a 2.30pm kickoff. High-riding Mahlangu are fancied to lift the inaugural trophy after maintaining their winning streak in six games and are leading the pack with 19 points.

But Mahlangu should guard against complacency because they are only a point ahead of second-placed Molly Blackburn who have garnered 18 points from the same number of games.

Molly Blackburn engage bottom club Tinara.

Other games: Nkululeko v Papani; Sisonke v Mlungisi Perfector; Thanduxolo v Zanolwazi.

Junior primary fixtures: A. Gontshi v Alex Jayiya; Mngcunube v Ntlemeza; Mjuleni v Ntungwana; Tulwana v Vuba.

Senior primary: S Nkomo v RH Godlo; Magqabi v Melumzi; Mtonjeni v Hombakazi; Mqayi v Noninzi.
