The culpable homicide case involving controversial Durban businessman S'fiso Zulu has been postponed to August 13.

Zulu was due to appear in the Durban magistrate's court on Friday after his vehicle was involved in an accident in which two people died and 10 others were injured.

It is alleged that Zulu's BMW X5, which he was apparently driving, jumped a red robot and crashed into a bakkie, killing the students in March.

Zulu is still in the Entabeni Hospital after his alleged suicide attempt two weeks ago.

Family and a small number of close friends yesterday continued to rally around the injured Zulu.

Said a close friend: "He is getting all the support and encouragement. He is recovering well and looking a lot better given the circumstances."
