In an editorial published in its online newsletter, Hlomelang, the ANCYL lambastes what it calls the "deliberately rubbishing and distorting of the national democratic revolution in order to achieve their narrow political ends".
"Taking cue from the DA, the media have not hesitated to echo their hollow and naïve perspective on the revolution.
"The timeless tradition of collective leadership in the ANC enjoins us to defend it against the forces of counter-revolution."
