There's perhaps no better way to get in the mood for summer than with the Johannesburg Fashion Week, which is dedicated to all things cool.

Be sure to mark July 23 to July 26 in your diary because that's when Johannesburg Fashion Week Spring-Summer 2008 takes place at the Montecasino Piazza in Fourways.

African Fashion International and the City of Joburg, in association with the Joburg Fashion District, will showcase the designs of more than 20 local and international designers.

Creativity, flair and excitement will be at the forefront of South Africa's largest fashion event.

Day one will see Pink Ant, Mosewa Mosa, who debuted at the Audi Joburg Fashion Week Autumn-Winter in March, and Heni Este-Hijzen.

Then Abigail Keats and Frans Kies will present their respective Spring-Summer 2008 collections.

Day two will see DM Classic, Spero Villioti, Philosophy and Carducci strutting their stuff.

On day three Vukani, Mzansi Designers, Machere, Fundidzi's Craig Jacobs and David Tlale will show their dazzling presentations.

Miss A Couture, Thula Sindi and JJ Schoeman will show what their designs are made of on the last day, Saturday, before Sun Goddess follows with the traditional Peroni Fashion in the Street finale.
