R10million is up for grabs from the Power of 10, the new M-Net game show that goes on air every Sunday from August 3 at 6pm.

Known for its innovative approach, M-Net is charting new terrain with this game show.

If you're adventurous enough it could boost your bank account by R10million.

Contestants will work their way up the money ladder in the hope of winning the most money ever given away on South African television.

Best of all, you don't have to be a brain surgeon or walking encyclopedia to bag the booty.

All that's required is to answer five simple questions that could take a contestant all the way to the big bucks.

Built on people's perceptions about the world they live in, contestants on the Power of 10 have to accurately predict what percentage of South Africans answered the question in a specific way.

They will be quizzed on quirky questions such as what percentage of South Africans used load shedding as an excuse for arriving late at work, what men prefer wearing boxer shorts to jocks or who would prefer having a female president.

There are several entertaining game show innovations to assist contestants.

When the nerves start gnawing, they can check whether their opinion matches those of the studio audience and a friend at their side before they lock in their answer.

The show has already been aired in Australia, Columbia, Denmark, France, Germany, Israel, Russia, Sweden and the US. Would-be contestants can call 086-227-7277.
