After several months of intense in-fighting, Gauteng president Rodney Anthony was unsuccessful in his bid to unseat national president Kevin du Plooy. He lost the vote 7-4.

Asked what the future now holds for Gauteng, Anthony said: "I don't know. I don't know what to say."

As a consolation Gauteng's Andrew Anthony was voted in as new development officer in the place of Neville Swartz.

Gauteng were also told they will host the national championships next year.

Hester Montgomery's position as administrator director was split. Montgomery now becomes the financial director, while Connie du Plooy is the new general secretary.
