After a splendid performance two weeks ago at the 46664 concert in London, award winning group Soweto Gospel Choir continues to astonish the world with its achievements.

The group's latest endeavour includes collaboration with respected artist Peter Gabriel on a sound track for the animation movie, Wall-e, that opened last week at cinemas nationwide.

Soweto Gospel Choir has sung alongside artists such as Bono, Queen, Annie Lennox, Diana Ross, Jimmy Cliff and Celine Dion.

The group's talent has spawned the most evocative sounds on earth and still produces the very best the world has to offer in this art form.

It was formed in 2002 to celebrate the unique and inspirational power of African gospel music.

The 26-strong choir, under the direction of David Mulovhedzi and Beverly Bryer, draws on the best talent from the many churches in and around Soweto.

This young dynamic choir performs both traditional and contemporary music.
