Top soccer leaders, including Molefi Oliphant, Irvin Khoza and Danny Jordaan, are expected to attend the burial of Moss Sibilanga in Chaneng, Rustenburg on Saturday.

Also attending the service will be Professor Lesole Gadinabokao, who is a member of Safa's 2010 World Cup Legacy Committee.

The funeral service will commence at 6.30am at his home in Motolokoane Section, before the cortege leaves for the cemetery.

Sibilanga died last Thursday after a long illness. At the time of his death, Sibilanga worked for Safa as its provincial affairs manager.

The hard-working Sibilanga joined Safa in 1994 after the establishment of the Development Trust. He was seconded by Royden Vice, the managing director of Afrox.

At that stage, Vice was the chairman of the Development Trust, which is now led by politician-cum-tycoon Tokyo Sexwale.

In 2005, Sibilanga was employed full-time by Safa where he continued handling the Development Trust matters.

Sibilanga was appointed provincial affairs manager in June last year after Sipho Nkumane was moved to Bafana Bafana as its new manager.
