The 15 dismissed Prestige Cleaning Services employees in Limpopo - who were fired without the knowledge of the company's head office - are expected to meet the company's senior management today in a bid to resolve the matter.
The company's human resources director, Paul Roux, said on Friday that they failed to meet the employees last week because of miscommunication between the parties.
The matter is scheduled to be heard by the Commission for Conciliation, Mediation and Arbitration (CCMA) at its offices in Burgersfort tomorrow. Roux said they would try to resolve the matter before the CCMA hearing tomorrow.
CCMA spokesman Lusanda Myoli said the workers had accused their employer of unfair dismissal and unfair labour practice. They claimed the company had a "hidden agenda" against them.
Myoli said the workers claimed that senior company officials had told them that they had failed a polygraph test and so had to leave the premises because they were "thieves".
