Sipho Moses Radebe of Thokoza was run down by a truck at his workplace, Royal Truck Body, in Alrode, near Germiston, Gauteng, on June 27.

The stores manager was loved by all, especially the people who worked under him.

A workaholic, Radebe is described by managing director Donovan Jackson as a success story "by virtue of progressing from a very humble beginning to management level".

"After proving himself as a security officer he was seconded to the stores, later becoming a supervisor," Jackson said. "Eventually he became procurement manager."

Born in Amersfoort, Mpumalanga, on September 19 1969, Radebe attended Zenzele primary in Bethal's Mzinoni township. He matriculated with an exemption at the Mzinoni Secondary School.

The staunch Kathlehong Design Ministries member is survived by his wife Vuyiswa.

He will be buried tomorrow at Kromvlei Cemetery in Alberton. The service starts at 8am at 2560 Ikayiso Street in Palm Ridge.
