Music lovers should brace themselves for true entertainment on Friday night when the Ouder Meester Ekurhuleni Comes Alive show takes place at the Birchwood Hotel in Boksburg.

The event has grown in the past seven years. This month it will feature Nana Coyote and Selaelo Selota, who are among Mzansi's best artists. Both are established musicians.

Selota released his solo album in 2000 titled Painted Faces, a beautiful jazz album that sold 25000 copies, achieving gold for the singer.

His second album, Enchanted Gardens, also sold 25000 copies.

His latest offering, The Azanian Songbook, is doing well on the airwaves.

Coyote, whose real name is Tsietsi Daniel Motijoane, is currently a member of Stimela.

His first solo album, Majaja, was released in August 2003 and his second last year.

The show starts at 8pm and tickets cost R250 a person and R2500 a table.
