The 20th anniversary of the Aggrey Klaaste Nation Building Foundation will be commemorated in a Sowetan golf day that will be held at the Ruimsig Country Club in Roodepoort today.

This event will provide a platform for business people and professionals to interact in an informal environment.

Companies are invited to take advantage of this ideal marketing and promotional event that will be contested by 120 golfers, while supporting a worthy cause with the proceeds donated to the foundation.

There will be a prize-giving dinner incorporating an auction of memorabilia.

There will be 100 invited VIP guests not necessarily inclined to play golf, but offering valuable networking opportunities. They include government representatives, media and key business executives.

Meanwhile, the Daveyton-based Hulwazi Secondary School will stage a fund-raising event at the State Mines Country Club in Boksburg on Sunday.

The 18-hole event is to raise funds to improve the school's laboratory and library facilities.

Tee-off time is at 11am.
