Young businesswoman Sybol Gelly Ramasela of Daveyton died suddenly on June 19. Among those in shock are Dinoto Technical High pupils whom she fed everyday.

Ramasela was born on February 11 1974 in Boksburg, where she received her early education at Kgalema Primary School. She also attended Solomon Motlana Primary School in Wattville before enrolling at BB Myataza High School in Etwatwa.

After high school she joined the family retail business at Pulana Street in Daveyton, where her father sharpened her business skills.

After her father died she took over the business and it was no surprise that she was awarded a contract to operate a cafeteria at Dinoto Technical High with her sister Christinah "Cash" Ramasela.

When the contract expired and a new tendering process was initiated, she won it again.

Many customers will remember her good sense of humour and the politeness with which she served even the most difficult of customers.

Ramasela is survived by four sisters and two brothers.

She will be buried at the Phumulani Cemetery in Etwatwa tomorrow.

The service will start at No. 11441 Sotho Street at 7.30am.
