Ramosidi "Jazzman" Tsatsimpe is no more.
Jazzman, 49, from Diepkloof in Soweto, died on June 12 in the Chris Hani Baragwanath Hospital after a short illness.
"He was a jolly and generous person," said Rinnie Manyanku, the deceased's younger sister. "He was just a beautiful soul."
Jazzman was involved in several building projects, including the building of Winnie Madikizela-Mandela's house in Orlando West, Dliwayo's creche in Orlando East and St Ansgars College in Lanseria.
He was born on July 18 1959 and matriculated at Meadowlands High School in 1981. He enrolled at Wits University for architectural studies and later worked as a private architect for various companies. At the time of his death he worked for Motse-LMI Architects.
His other sister, Dineo Tsatsimpe, said: "The best way to describe my brother is that he was a people's person. He was very humble."
Tsatsimpe said he drew house plans for people at a reduced price.
"To him, money was not an issue, but to see his product used was gratifying for him," she said.
Tsatsimpe is survived by three children, his father, brother, sisters, nieces and nephews.
He will be buried tomorrow at the West Park Cemetery. The service starts at the Diepkloof Hall at 7am.
