Lamontville Golden Arrows linkman Papi Zothwane and Free State Stars' forward Hareaipha "Simba" Marumo will be among the players who will display their skills at the Show Me Your Number Project in KwaZulu-Natal on Sunday.

The match and other activities will be held at the Hammarsdale Stadium in Mpumalanga. Kickoff is at 3.30pm and the match, which will pit players who are based in the province against those from outside, will be televised live by SABC Sport, according to the organisers.

The Aids awareness project, which will be launched in Durban tomorrow, is an initiative of the South African Football Players Union (Safpu) and is backed by the KwaZulu-Natal government and the provincial Youth Commission.

The KZN team will be represented by the likes of John "Shoes" Moshoeu, Zothwane, Mbulelo Mabizela, Bheka Phakathi, Bernard Parker, Bafo Biyela, Bongani Cashibe, Scara Ngobese and Diyo Sibisi. It will be coached by Paradise Mooketsi and Tsepo Ntsoane.

Farouk Khan and Isaac "Shakes" Kungwane will lead the Inland Stream team that will include Siphiwe Mkhonza, Soul Molapo, Edelbert Dinha, Marumo, Lechesa, Shaun Potgieter, Tshepo Malesa and McDonald Mukansi.

"This project is more than this game as it has other components that will be implemented throughout the year. It is a clarion call to soccer players to change their behaviour and do the right things in helping to stop the spread of HIV and Aids," said Elvis Sekgobela, Safpu's spokesman.

There will be voluntary testing and counselling at the stadium.
