What will it take for them to realise that the situation in Zimbabwe is dangerous? Robert Mugabe seems to be the demigod of SADC. How else can one explain the brutality that Mugabe exerts on the people of Zimbabwe and nothing is done by SADC?

One would expect SADC to have a meeting on Zimbabwe, reach consensus and implement whatever resolution is taken. Instead, SADC itself is divided on the issue. You don't have to be a genius to realise that there are economic and political problems in Zimbabwe. It is flabbergasting to see that SADC, which is supposed to be the watchdog, is so insensitive to the suffering.

I'm starting to believe that SADC was formed with a view to protect the dictators at the expense of the citizens of Southern African countrie. The same applies to the AU. The least that can be done by SADC or the AU is to offer Mugabe asylum in one of the African countries as they did with the Haitian president. Let the people of Zimbabwe live peacefully ever after. Enough is enough.
