Canadian singer Celine Dion has received an undesirable accolade - she is responsible for the worst cover song in history.

The My Heart Will Go On diva's cover of heavy rockers AC/DC's track You Shook Me All Night Long has been deemed a "musical offence" and placed atop a chart of the worst-ever covers compiled by industry publication Total Guitar magazine.

British girl groups Sugababes and Girls Aloud's cover of Aerosmith's Walk This Way took the number two spot on the shameful round-up, with Irish boyband Westlife's take on Extreme's More Than Words coming third in the poll.

More successful covers were also honoured, with the magazine voting Jimi Hendrix's cover of Bob Dylan's All Along The Watchtower the best in a list of classic covers, closely followed by the Beatles' rendition of Top Notes' Twist and Shout track. The Guns n Roses take on the Wings' Band track Live and Let Die was positioned at number three. - Wenn
