If you are around Johannesburg today and looking for a cool place to enjoy music by some of the country's leading musos, look no further than the House of Ntsako.
This cool venue, which is increasingly becoming a joint of choice for discerning music lovers and those interested in the good life after a hard day's work, features the cream of alternative musicians in Jozi.
The House of Ntsako is situated at 101 Height Street in Brixton, Johannesburg.
Famously called The House, the joint has just confirmed what promises to be a great line-up of Marcus Wyatt, Louis Mhlanga and Carlo Mombelli. This after a successful gig by alternative music exponents, the youngish band Kwani Experience.
The experience of watching these dudes perform was out of this world. I know, because I was part of the experience two weeks ago.
But nobody, not even in their wildest dreams, expected the dream crew of Wyatt, Mhlanga and Mombelli to turn up at The House.
Not that The House is not expected to present musicians of this high calibre. It was just not expected so soon after discerning patrons were entertained by the globe-trotting Kwani Experience.
Fifty rand at the door will get you into the venue and if you get there at 7.30pm you can also have a sumptuous meal.
