Park Village Auctions has secured the mandate to conduct the public auction sale of redundant assets for Siyanda Coal on Tuesday at 10.30am.

Commercial mining interests will find the auction particularly appealing because a wide variety of mining equipment will be available for sale. Manufacturers, transport operators and second-hand dealers will also discover opportunities here.

A substantial range of mining and earthmoving equipment, forklifts and yellow metal will go under the gavel as will a number of fleet vehicles and other miscellaneous stock. Notably, a filter press plant and a sample plant will be on offer. Specifically, fleet stock will include a Mercedes Benz Sprinter, VW Combi ambulance, Mercedes Benz trucks, trailers and various chassis.

Shuttle cars, train pushers (Elbtrans) and spares, forklifts, tractors, CMC coal miners, a Bomag roller, among others, comprise the bulk of the mining and earth-moving equipment.

An assortment of transformers, switchgear, face drills, SACM booms, roof bolters, fans, feeder breakers, a guillotine, lathes, tyres, Hanssen gear boxes, centrifuge pumps and batteries make up the rest of the items for sale.

Bertie Saunderson of Park Village Auctions shared his thoughts on the upcoming sale: "Siyanda Coal's annual clearance sale represents an opportunity for mining related interests to pick up some great deals and add well-maintained equipment to their own mining equipment repertoire. That said, mining houses are not the only market that will benefit from this auction. Other commercial interests are also most welcome as there is something for everyone here."

The auction starts on site at Gloria Shaft reclamation yard, Bethal, Hendrina turnoff, Mpumalanga. From there it will proceed to Koornfontein processing and the load out site. The PVA pointer boards will guide the buyers accordingly. Viewing is on Monday from 10am to 3pm or the morning of the sale from 9.30am to starting time.
