Former Bafana Bafana ace midfielder Siyabonga Nkosi has urged Joel Santana's charges not to put themselves under pressure but to try and maintain composure throughout the match against Sierra Leone on Saturday.

The South Africans welcome the Mohammed Kallon-led Leone Stars at Atteridgeville's Super Stadium in a must-win World Cup/Africa Cup of Nations qualifier.

Bafana should go for the jugular and beat Sierra Leone with swagger to revive their ambitions of qualifying for the 2010 Afcon finals in Angola.

Their ability to qualify for the continental spectacular was questioned by many a football fan in South Africa after losing 0-1 to lowly-rated Sierra Leone in Freetown last Saturday.

While many people are now developing cold feet about Bafana's chances of playing in Angola, Nkosi yesterday expressed confidence that Santana's troops would qualify for the Afcon.

"I have never doubted Bafana Bafana's chances of qualifying for the Afcon before and I'm not going to do so today," said the Arminia Bielefeld linkman.

"Bafana Bafana need our support and people should come to the stadium in numbers to spur them on. It is not yet over for us and we should fight to the bitter end to secure a passage to Angola. I have confidence in every player in the squad and I know they will deliver."

He said they should treat the match as a new ball game.
