Serame "Rhee" Letsoaka, a top South African development soccer coach, is in Libya to conduct a coaching course for the instructors on the continent.

Letsoaka was appointed by the Confederation of Africa Football (CAF) together with Burundian Dominique Nehonzima to run the course.

The course, which covers various aspects of soccer coaching, started on Monday in the capital Tripoli and will finish tomorrow.

Letsoaka is the coach of Amajita and Amabinneplaas, the South African development national team that is participating in the new African Nations Championships.

Nehonzima has also worked in South Africa as coach of Royal Tigers in Durban and Mbabane Highlanders in Swaziland.

"We have CAF instructors attending the course. They are from Kenya, Libya, Sierra Leone, Eritrea, Tanzania, Uganda, Ghana and Gambia," said Letsoaka.

"We are also working on a new qualification for African coaches. We are aligning this qualification so that it is the same as that of Uefa." - Ramatsiyi Moholoa
