Nelspruit Lowveld High School will be looking to continue their dominance over Valencia High School when they meet in the last-32 stage of the soccer section of the Silulumanzi Cup for Mbombela high schools today starting at 2.30pm.

The cup is a netball and soccer competition and is contested by schools around Nelspruit.

Martin Mashiya, Lowveld coach, said: "I don't see Valencia standing in our way to glory. We beat them three times last year and we will repeat that feat tomorrow [today]," said Mashiya yesterday.

He said after crashing out in the last 32 last year, this year they intended to go all the way and clinch the title.

"Our journey to victory begins with Valencia and we are ready for any school," said Mashiya.

Other fixtures: soccer - (all kicking off at 2.30pm): Inkunzi v Bonginhlanhla; Zwelisha v Guduza and Ncakini v Bhekiswako.

Netball: Valencia v Cefups; Siligane v Hillaria Mthethwa; Khanyisani v Thembeka; Sidungeni v Cyril Clarke.

The weekend's netball results: Guduza 33, Ngazi Ndhlovu 7; Bhekiswako 23, Ngodini 36; Mtungwa 6, Gedlembane 2.

Soccer: Lungisani 2, Sabane 0; Sitfokotile 4, Khumbula 0; Mthombo 3, Sitintile 2; Matthews Phosa College 0, Mbuyane 5.
