Prince Kupi, 36, the sterling actor who died in a car crash with his wife Zandile on Sunday morning, will be buried tomorrow at Joburg's West Park Cemetery.

His wife will be laid to rest on Sunday in Estcourt in KwaZulu-Natal.

"My mother and I always thought Prince would become a doctor. He was passionate about medicine - until the day he laid his hands on a guitar," his sister Nomsa Manaka said.

Born in Diepkloof, Kupi attended the local Giyane Primary and Fidelitas High.

"He was one of the greatest people I ever knew. Even in my pain, I am happy to have been touched by his wonderful personality and dazzling smile," Manaka said.

"He was the best brother any girl could have asked for. I thank God for giving him to us and allowing him to reach the age he did.

"Zandile had a beautiful spirit. When she joined the family it was like having a sister, my own baby sister."

Kupi leaves behind his mother, sister and child.

The service at home starts at 7am and proceeds to Funda Centre at 8am. The cortege leaves at 11am for the cemetery.
