Four Zimbabweans, who shot and killed a police officer last year, were sentenced to 37 years each by the Johannesburg high court on Friday.
Judge George Maluleke sentenced Freddy Khumalo (24), Sipho Philani Ncube (23), Mbulelo Ncube (27), and Thulani Ngcobo (30), after finding them guilty of killing Captain Joseph Windsor Koako, of Lenasia South.
Koako, who was a member of the police VIP unit, was killed at Tommy's Pub in Johannesburg.
