Captain Thembeka Luthuli said the gunman regularly visited the shop to use the toilet. On Monday he asked for the owner and went upstairs. One gunshot was heard by other staffers.
"The owner was shot once in the back of his head," Luthuli said.
The motive is unknown and no arrest has been made. - Sapa
