Barcelona narrowly trounced Buffelspruit All Blacks 1-0 to became the fourth team to engrave its name on the Selati Super Cup on Saturday at Kamhlushwa Stadium in Mpumalanga.

Boyzen Mhlanga was the hero of the day as he scored the all-important goal deep in the second half.

Elvis Mhlongo, All Blacks coach, said he was proud of his boys despite losing.

"They played very well, it's just that today was not our day," he said on Saturday.

Mathews "Disco" Zulu, Barcelona coach, attributed the win to his players' spot-on tactics. For their victory the Jeppes Reef side was presented with the prizes of R40 000 cash, a weekend away at the Kruger National Park and to watch any off-season national tournament.

As a consolation prize, All Blacks received R25 000 and two prizes similar to the champions.

Shongwe Highlanders beat Naughty Boys 2-0 to finish third and had to settle for R10 000.

In the women's division Sijabulile thrashed Amazon 4-3 to walk away with R10000.

NV Gunners finished in third place after beating Black Bees 5-0.
