The Kay Motsepe Cup hots up as two more provinces produce their representatives for the national championship that is scheduled for July 9-12 at a venue still to be decided on.
Sozama High School from Middleburg outclassed their opponents to clinch the provincial championship at Mhluzi stadium in Middleburg.
In the semifinals Sozama walloped Madiza 4-2, while in another match Gedlembane beat Masizakhe 2-1 in a closely contested affair.
The Middleburg school was led by their lethal striker Welcome Leshilo, who scored twice in the semis and continued his scoring spree when he netted the only goal in the final to beat Gedlembane.
At Beaufort West, Cloetesville, the 2008 Coca Cola U-18 champions from Boland district emerged provincial champions after they beat Steenberg 1-0 in the final.
The three schools - Cloetesville, Steenberg and Baaspiaans - were involved in a round robin system.
Baaspiaans and Cloetesville played to a 1-all draw in an earlier match, while Cloetesville beat Steenberg 2-1.
Sozama and Cloetesville will join SA Van Wyk from Northern Cape and Harmony High from Free State who qualified for the national championships recently.
Three provinces are expected to produce their representatives this weekend, with North West staging the championships on Friday, while Limpopo and Gauteng will play theirs on Saturday.
Eastern Cape schools will battle it out on June 21 and KwaZulu-Natal schools on June 28.
The overall winners will take home R 250 000, with R200 000 for the runners-up, R175 000 for the third placed team and R150 000 for the fourth school.
"We are satisfied with the high level of competition displayed during the four provincial championship and hope that others will follow this good trend," Themba Tshabalala, Kay Motsepe Cup national coordinator, told Sowetan.
