Mafolofolo Secondary School from GaDikgale dominated the Niloti Edu Cup, when they went home with two trophies, as former professional soccer players were honoured.
The tournament featured soccer, netball and volleyball and was held at Mafolofolo in Solomondale, near the University of Limpopo, on Saturday.

Solomondale Primary School made full use of home ground advantage when they walloped Maboyane 10-3 in the losers' finals of netball, while Kgalaka were made to sweat to beat Mosebo 13-11 in the final.
MP Mamabolo won bronze after Mamphoku failed to pitch for their secondary schools netball match. Mafolofolo sealed their collection of gold medals through a 14-11 victory over Morutwa.
The tables were turned in volleyball when Phirikolobe beat Baphutheng 3-0, as Magogo pipped favourites Mafolofolo 2-1 in the finals.
The prize-giving ceremony saw the honouring of five former professional soccer players, Orlando Pirates' Jacky "Styles" Ledwaba and Kingsley Masingi; former Moroka Swallows player Tiger Makola; former Kaizer Chiefs striker Sidney Moshikaro and current AmaZulu striker Mpho "Zico" Maleka.
"We are satisfied by the high standard displayed in all the three sporting codes. Our wish is that the tournament would involve all the schools in Mankweng and ultimately the whole province," said Rex Ngoetjana, tournament coordinator.
The former players had a chance to motivate the young and aspiring players.
