Cheek of taxi operators

I read with utter amazement and disbelief about taxi drivers protesting because they disapprove of bus companies operating in certain areas.

I read with utter amazement and disbelief about taxi drivers protesting because they disapprove of bus companies operating in certain areas.

From which planet do these guys come from?

How on earth, in this day and age, can anyone in any business protest and assault people in other businesses simply because of competition?

What makes these taxi operators think that they possess an inherent and exclusive right to operate on certain roads and routes in certain areas?

Serious education is needed, as well as a firm government approach and strategy to regulate the taxi industry.

The same lack of respect, courtesy and disregard for the rights of other road users that taxi operators generally display now appears to be their approach in every other matter relating to the industry.

Taxi drivers who compete for road space with other motorists on a daily basis generally consider other road users a hindrance and obstruction to their business.

This now appears to be the attitude generally by people in the taxi industry in relation to anyone who is in competition with them.

I would like to ask once again: which planet do these bad-mannered guys come from?
