Is this how we define marriage in 2008 - as a game of lotto? What happened to love and the desire to be with one another for life?

I always thought marriage was about love and not just a game. Oh, yes, you do take a risk in marriage, but it's a calculated risk based on love, trust and devotion.

Marriage is not an event but a process, initiated from the day you fall in love and start dating.

The Las Vegas-style of marriage today and love tomorrow is disastrous. Hollywood is littered with examples of those who painfully discovered that marriage is a synonym for love.

One good thing about the station's idea is that it has put the spotlight on marriage and its relevance to the 21st century.

Why do people still want to get married?

Is love enough in a materialistic world where identity and values are defined by the size of your wallet, the car you drive and your status?
