The case against seven boys who allegedly killed King Edward School pupil Mfundo Ntshangase was postponed for trial at the Randburg magistrate's court yesterday.

The trial will start on July 28.

Ntshangase, 17, of Meadowlands, Soweto, died at the Olivedale Hospital after he was stabbed three times during a birthday party in Randburg after a school social event on September 16.

The boys, aged between 16 and 17, were arrested soon afterwards.

Six of them were released into the custody of their parents, while the seventh was held in custody.

The boy was denied bail because of the allegation that he was the knife man.
