With the recent attacks on foreigners, I am very curious to know whether any of the South African looters have yet been arrested by the police?

It should not be too difficult to track down these disgraceful, despicable people, because they were shown in photographs in the print media and on television screens throughout the whole world.

What a disgrace for our country, to see these shameless grinning thieves, happily carrying away stolen goods from the shops of those beaten, frightened shop owners, who had been forced to take flight because they are foreigners.

I will not be surprised, however, if, as with the thousands of public servants who allegedly defrauded the social grant system, as well as the numerous convicted and non- convicted MPs who stole and allegedly defrauded taxpayers' money in Travelgate, the looters will also get away with their crimes.

After all, this is South Africa in 2008.
